Cashier Job Description
- Processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register, Custodian of security cheques, bank guarantees, misc trading and scrap sales.
- Maintenance of the daily cash transaction records
- ensuring all cash trasactions are done the same day.
- invoiceing and issuance of receipts for the cash collections’
- Daily reconciliation of the transactions
- Utilities and other visa related bills payment on timely basis.
- supporting in monthly closing activities
- maintenance of tracker for the Imprest cash and cash advances and timely adjustment for the advances to employees
- Maintenance of cash as per the guidelines, safety, security and the insurance requirements.
- Maintenance of the security cheques, PDC cheques, bank guantees, collection of cheques and deposition with banks.
- Supporting the collection team in clearing of the cheques and cash collections.
- Physical verification of the cash by internal auditors from time to time.
